***AT TIMES, I DO RAISE MY CALORIE INTAKE TO AVOID PLATEAUS OR IF I INCREASE MY EXERCISE.***
What i eat; Veggies, fruits, lean meats.
1350 calories daily. Here is my schedule;
Breakfast at 7:00 - 300 calories
Snack at 9:00 - 150 calories
Lunch at 11:30 - 300 calories
Snack at 2:00 - 150 calories
Dinner at 5:00 - 300 calories
(So I have 150 calories left I can use at any point during the day, if I don’t use them I get a dessert of up to 150 calories. I like weight watchers ice cream products, they are so good and always around 150 or less.)
Exercise plan; Gym at least 6 days a week. I spend at least an hour and sometimes an hour and a half each time I go. I wont give you detail by detail of what I do because I am constantly changing up my routine. I will tell you that I burn a minimum of 500 calories each time I go to the gym.
Remember; In order to be successful, you must be realistic. Don’t set rules that you KNOW you’re going to break. Instead of cutting out all bad foods, opt for healthier versions. Someone once said;
“If I can’t taste it, I wont waste it.”
Now, what they meant by this was; For example.. cheese is an ingredient high in fat and it’s not absolutely necessary so I wont waste my calories on it. As genius as that may be.. it’s unrealistic. I LOVE cheese!(: So instead of denying myself something I love, I opt for the healthier *Weight Watchers* cheese, which I buy from Walmart SuperCenter. I have a WeightWatcher’s cheese stick in the morning with my oatmeal as well. (: Guess what?! That’s realistic and totally fine! So, this applies to all the foods you love. If you deny yourself ice-cream, guess what?! You’ll crave it and want it so bad, you’re most likely going to binge on it! SkinnyCow and WeightWatchers makes delicious low calorie ice-creams that can easily fit into your daily routine. I reccomend not having more than one sweet per day because that can lead you back to old habits, BUT one treat after dinner won’t kill you. Wean yourself off slowly so that you can get to eating your (one a day) sweet every other day, or once a week. When I first began my weight loss, I was having a weight watchers ice-cream sandwich (150calories) after dinner every night—did I lose weight? You bet! It’s all about portion size and moderation. Now, I only eat them a few times a week or so, Im digging this new healthy feeling.(: So it’s very important to be realistic with your goals.
My Advice; begin slow—make small changes. Gradually add more exercise to your daily routine. Whatever you do, just start! and dont give up. The only regret you’ll have is not starting sooner!
